Roy D. Hornbeck, age 61, passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2017. He is survived by his beloved soul mate and best friend of 27 years, Cathy Faulk and her children; Jared (wife, Pamye) and Leslie (husband, Frank); his sons, Paul Hornbeck (wife, Alicia) and Michael Hornbeck; his grandchildren, Tyler, Gideon, Azlyn, Kariann, Ella Grace and Jrayden; his sister, Linda Morrow (husband, Bill); his niece Holly; his nephew, Bryan and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Chessie Hornbeck and by his beloved iguana, Mo. Roy retired from Cox Cable...

Roy D. Hornbeck, age 61, passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2017. He is survived by his beloved soul mate and best friend of 27 years, Cathy Faulk and her children; Jared (wife, Pamye) and Leslie (husband, Frank); his sons, Paul Hornbeck (wife, Alicia) and Michael Hornbeck; his grandchildren, Tyler, Gideon, Azlyn, Kariann, Ella Grace and Jrayden; his sister, Linda Morrow (husband, Bill); his niece Holly; his nephew, Bryan and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Chessie Hornbeck and by his beloved iguana, Mo. Roy retired from Cox Cable Company after 30 years of employment, was a U.S. Marine veteran and was an avid Cruising the Coast fan. Roy was a true Southern Gentleman. He was very kindhearted and generous and will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives he touched. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial gathering at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., near Clearview Pkwy., in Metairie, LA on Sunday, August 13, 2017 beginning at 1:00 PM with a memorial service to follow at 3:00 PM in Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home's chapel.
