Henry Robert Lynn, at age of 90 years passed away peacefully on Tuesday November 22, 2016 at his home. Married to Sylvia Gleason in October of 1947. Father of Harry, Geoffrey, Thomas, Michael, Dwight and Mary Lynn. Henry is grandfather of Robert, Bonnie, Kevin, Michelle M., Thomas, David, Katie, Michelle K., Michael, Jr., Gretchen, Dwight, Jr.. Henry is great-grandfather to Faith, Ava, Carmen, Emma, Ethan, Sutton, Joseph H., Taylor and Kamden. His nephew, Joseph Walter Lynn and his family. Henry Robert Lynn, at age of 90 years passed away peacefully on Tuesday November 22, 2016 at his home. Married to Sylvia Gleason in October of 1947. Father of Harry, Geoffrey, Thomas, Michael, Dwight and Mary Lynn. Henry is grandfather of Robert, Bonnie, Kevin, Michelle M., Thomas, David, Katie, Michelle K., Michael, Jr., Gretchen, Dwight, Jr.. Henry is great-grandfather to Faith, Ava, Carmen, Emma, Ethan, Sutton, Joseph H., Taylor and Kamden. His nephew, Joseph Walter Lynn and his family. He is predeceased by his parents, Joseph Walter and Alice McEntee Lynn, seven brothers and a sister, grandsons Jason and Joseph Lynn. His wife's parents Thomas and Antoinette Gleason. Henry enlisted in the U.S. Navy at the age of 18 and served aboard the destroyer, USS Aulick during WWII in the South Pacific. After the U.S. Victory he enrolled in Delgado trade School as an apprentice-in-training to become a Journeyman machinist at Dibert Bancroft & Ross and went onto retire from Prager, Inc. He will be missed by all those he loved. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 10:00 a.m., at Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 4337 Sal Lentini Pkwy, Kenner, Louisiana. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.. Interment will be held at Garden of Memories Cemetery, Metairie, Louisiana. Condolences may be offered online at www.leitzeaganfuneralhome.com
