Elizabeth Rivolo Moreci, born November 26, 1922, passed away at the age of 94 on November 27, 2016. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents Vito and Corinne Rivolo, sister, Frances Marino, brother, Daniel Rivolo, and her husband Pascal "Charlie" Moreci.
She is survived by her brother, Anthony Rivolo, daughters, Donna Berggren (Ted) and Joni Canizaro (Gary), her grandchildren, Beau Berggren (Julie), Brad Berggren (Kira), Craig Canizaro (Emily), Kellie Maurin (Jason) and Katie Canizaro, and her great grandchildren, Alyssa Beth Berggren, Alexa Berggren, Clark Canizaro, Rosalie Canizaro, Mary Elizabeth Canizaro, and Pascal Maurin. Elizabeth Rivolo Moreci, born November 26, 1922, passed away at the age of 94 on November 27, 2016. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents Vito and Corinne Rivolo, sister, Frances Marino, brother, Daniel Rivolo, and her husband Pascal "Charlie" Moreci.
She is survived by her brother, Anthony Rivolo, daughters, Donna Berggren (Ted) and Joni Canizaro (Gary), her grandchildren, Beau Berggren (Julie), Brad Berggren (Kira), Craig Canizaro (Emily), Kellie Maurin (Jason) and Katie Canizaro, and her great grandchildren, Alyssa Beth Berggren, Alexa Berggren, Clark Canizaro, Rosalie Canizaro, Mary Elizabeth Canizaro, and Pascal Maurin. She was also a special Na'nan to Charlotte Marullo and Diane Hocke.
Elizabeth was a bookkeeper, homemaker and a long-time tennis instructor with the JPRD. She enjoyed the arts, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
We would like to thank the caregivers at Metairie Healthcare for their comfort and kindness.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd. in Metairie on Thursday, December 1, 2016 from 10:00 am until the Funeral Mass which will begin at 1:00 pm. Interment will immediately follow at Greenwood Cemetery in New Orleans.
